TYPO Berlin is a European design and typography conference. The project goal was to redesign the 2016 conference materials—themed as Beyond Design—for the next year. The design solution creates a system that is gridded, sleek, and modern to appeal to an international audience. Intersecting geometric symbols add visual interest and appeal to the aesthetics of a younger demographic, while also emphasizing networking and connections made. A rich orange paired with black and white imposes a fresh and powerful look. Condensed sans serif typography reinforces the futuristic theme of the conference and promotes readability.
