In the animal kingdom, eusociality is the highest level of colonial organization, in which organisms are the most social and cooperative. The project goal was to create an informational poster describing a complex system. The main challenge was creating a visual work for a scientific topic that has published little to no visuals or graphics. The solution creates a linear narrative with clear headers and sections to walk the reader through the information, including small illustrations to accompany each idea. The central, circular image at the top showcases a common eusocial species. The blues, teals, and tans invoke a scientific aura, while the oranges bring a brighter and more playful color to the mix.
